Tracked trailers are extremely effective due to their off road capabilities. Due to their tracked nature, they can effectively navigate through mud, sand, snow and rocky terrain. The tracks provide superior traction, giving the trailer traction where wheeled vehicles would be unable to operate. This makes them necessary for remote construction sites where you cannot risk having a trailer get stuck and delaying the project.
Another advantage of tracked trailers is their maneuverability. Their tracks allow them to turn on a dime and position themselves anywhere, which is ideal for navigating narrow trails or congested construction sites. This eliminates the agility limitations of wheeled trailers, as wheeled trailers have a large turning radius and can be challenging to back up.
Tracked trailers also maintain better stability on uneven terrain. The tracked system lets them absorb impacts and obstacles, making them less prone to tipping over and able to conquer obstacles with minimal impact.
